Beginners start Monday! Join us for the best Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia dance lessons in Houston. No partner + Zero experience needed.

Monday is for fresh starts! Welcome to Meet & Dance! Learn the basics of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Bachata from scratch. This is the perfect class for ultra beginner dancers and brand new students. It all happens in Downtown, Houston at the historic Henke and Pilot!

You will learn the foundations of Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata and Salsa. How to do the basic steps, right and left turns, how to lead and follow, how to do basic figures, and how to put it all together in simple social patterns. Plus you will learn how to recognize the music, dance etiquette, and most importantly, how to have fun on the dance floor.

MEET & DANCE MONDAY SCHEDULE

✓ 7:00-7:15p. Check-in and get a wristband.

✓ 7:15-8:00p. Intro to Latin Dancing. Learn the basics and turns of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, and Kizomba.

*** Break time, grab a snack or refreshment.

✓ 8:00-9:00p Intro to Salsa dancing. Go more in depth with Salsa. basic steps, basic right turn, cross body lead footwork and partner work. Learn leading and following techniques.

✓ 9:00-10:30p Meet & Dance Monday practice and social for the students. Open to the public.

Music format/ratio: 3 Salsa, 2 Bachata, 1 Merengue, 2 Cumbia, 2 Kizomba and repeat. Reggaeton added as well.

CLASS LEVEL: Intro level, Level 0, Baby steps to latin dancing.

Singles, couples, and groups welcome. Don’t be shy to attend alone, we make a big circle and rotate with everyone. Couples can stay together.

Classes & Social:

Singles: One class: $15/person. Both classes: $20/person

Couples: One class: $25/couple. Both classes: $35/couple

Social Only: $7/p (cash at the door only)

We teach 7 days a week. Ask us about our Class Pass discounts to save. All of our events include lessons and social dancing afterwards.

Payment: You can buy online via Eventbrite with credit card or pay at the door with Cash, Venmo, Cashapp, and Zelle. We do not accept credit cards at the door. ATM located on first floor.
