Welcome to our Kizomba Crash Course for absolute beginners in Houston! If you are just starting Kizomba dancing or never danced Kizomba before this is the class you should join!

Kizomba Crash Course is an easy to follow, fun, and immersive course for singles and couples that like to learn the basics and foundation turns of this beautiful and elegant dance from Angola. The music is so addictive.

Kizomba Course Material: Learn techniques in leading and following, basic steps, timing variations, connection exercises, weight change while dancing with a partner, how to recognize the music, dance etiquette, social dance combinations and figures. During the whole course we will help you each step of the way.

Singles and couples welcome. No dancing experience required.

No walk-ins allowed! Please RSVP to save your spot and keep the class balanced.

Ultra beginners! We start from scratch. No experience required.

Casual / Gym attire. Low heels or flats. Leather soles recommended. Avoid rubber soles and sandals.

Food available on the first floor. Bar available as well on the rooftop.

Event is for ages 18+

KIZOMBA COURSE SCHEDULE

3:45PM: Check-in. Free parking on the street all day Sunday.

4:00PM: Intro and foundations, variations in timing, and footwork for men and women.

5:00PM: Intro Saidas, Social figures, more fun combinations.

6:00PM: Bonus Social dancing. First or second level. We can go to the rooftop and chill as well.

✓ Early Registration: $25/lady, $35/gent, $50/couple. In advance, paid online.

✓ Door Registration on Sunday: $40/p at the door.

✓ Paying at the Door. If you like to pay at the door, text us at 832-413-2623 “Kizomba Course, + name of student(s)” to add you to the list. We accept cash, venmo, cashapp and zelle. Please no credit cards.

Singles, Please DO NOT show up unannounced. If the class is sold out, you may not be able to participate. We need to keep the ratio between leads and follows even.
