Welcome to Latin Dance Factory’s Absolute Beginner Crash Course! This is an easy to follow, fun, and effective course for brand new students and ultra beginners. We will teaching you the fundamental footwork and turns of Cumbia dancing. It’s easier than you think!

Singles and couples welcome. You don’t need to bring a dance partner, and if you do, you can stay together. No dancing experience required.

Register online and save! It helps us keep the class balanced.

🥇 Ultra beginners! We start from scratch. No experience required.

👕 Casual / Gym attire. Low heels or flats. Leather soles recommended. Avoid rubber soles and sandals.

🍹 Food and bar available.

👥 Event is for ages 18+. Singles rotate. Couples can stay together.

COURSE SCHEDULE

7p-7:30p: Check-in & Intro and foundations of Cumbia

8:00p: Beginner figures, turns, footwork

9:00p: Cumbia figures and combinations

10:00p: Social dancing and practice till 11:30p

HOW TO JOIN / TICKET PRICE

✓ Early Registration: $25/lady, $35/gent, $50/couple. In advance, paid online.

✓ Door Registration on Thursday: $40/person at the door Text for availability. Do not show up unannounced.

✓ If you like to pay at the door, text us at 832-413-2623 “Cumbia Course, + name of student(s)”

✓ Singles, please do not walk-in. We need to keep the ratio between leads and follows even.

We accept cash, Venmo, Cashapp and Zelle. Please no credit cards at the door.

✓ Want to learn multiple dances? Discount passes for multiple crash courses available. Ask us.

✓ Free street parking in Downtown after 6pm.

✓ Do not park in valet, commercial, or emergency red zones.

✓ Garage parking for $9 at 805 Franklin St. Just one block away.

✓ Take your valuables with you or hide them in your trunk out of plain view.
