Hey there! Are you ready to spice up your life with some Bachata moves? Join us at Henke & Pillot for a crash course designed for absolute beginners. Whether you’ve never danced before or just want to brush up on the basics, this event is perfect for you!

Get ready to learn the fundamental steps, turns, and partnerwork that will have you dancing the night away in no time. We will guide you through each step, ensuring you feel confident and ready to hit the dance floor.

Singles and couples welcome, no partner or experience necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and dancing shoes. See you there!

COURSE SCHEDULE

7:00-7:15pm: Check-in / Intro and foundations of Bachata Dancing.

8pm: Beginner Bachata figures, turns, and footwork.

9pm: Social combinations and review.

10pm: Social dancing and practica till 11:30p.

SYLLABUS

Level 101: Learn the basic steps and variations. Right & left turns, Sweetheart turns, principles of leading and following, principles of timing, body movement, easy social figures and basic combinations (part 1). Perfect for Absolute Beginners.

Level 102: Review the basics. Footwork variations. Body Waves and isolations, different turns, more leading and following tips, timing exercises, easy social figures and basic combinations (part 2). Perfect for Beginners +

Level 101 is for brand new students or anyone wanting to review the foundations.

Level 102 is for returning beginner students. Keep learning more techniques. Bachata has so many moves, it is impossible to cover them all in just one crash course.
